Yorktown Freedom Run
The Yorktown Freedom Run is a regional athletic competition held in Yorktown, Virginia. The event features multiple distance options for participants, including an 8K run and a 5K run/walk option. The race is staged at the Yorktown Battlefield Tour Roads, with administrative check-in and registration located at or near York High School on the George Washington Memorial Highway.
The 8K course is officially certified and serves as the RRCA Virginia State 8K Championship. The event is integrated into several regional series, including the PTC Grand Prix, the Hampton Roads Super Grand Prix, and the 2024 PTC-CRR-TS 3-Club Challenge.
