The Malham Trail Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday 5 September 2026. It is the third race in the Due North Trail Trilogy. The race is organised under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the TRA. The race venue for start and finish is Malham Show Field, BD23 4DA.
Race details
The route passes Malham Cove and Malham Tarn and includes a climb to Weets Top followed by a long descent with wide views. The course is partially way marked. Minimum age for entry is 17. Entry fees are listed as UKA member £35 and non-UKA member £37; a discount is offered when entering all three races in the series.
Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, a cup or bottle for drinks, and a mobile phone with a location app such as OS Locate; hat and gloves are also listed. Drinks stations will provide water and juice. A post-race meal such as pie or soup is included, along with a bottled beer and event merchandise. Free car parking and a male and female toilet block are available at the race field. Prize giving will include places in open and age-group categories, with awards for top finishers.
