Malham Trail Half Marathon
The Malham Trail Half Marathon is the third race in the Due North Trail Trilogy. The event takes place in Malham, starting and finishing at the Malham Show Field.
The route passes through the locations of Malham Cove and Malham Tarn. It includes a climb up to Weets Top, followed by a long descent. The course is partially way-marked.
Registration is from 08:15 at a tent in the car park. The minimum age to participate is 17. The event includes a post-race meal (such as pie or soup), a bottle of beer, and goodies from sponsors. Free car parking is available.
Participants must carry a minimum kit, which includes a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle, and a mobile phone with the race day number stored.
Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for men and women, and for first place in various age categories (V40, 50, 60, 70+). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
