Event details
The Malham Trail Half Marathon is a trail half marathon organised by Due North Events on Saturday 5 September 2026 at Malham Show Field, BD23 4DA. The event is run under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the TRA. Entry fees are listed at UKA Member £35 and Non‑Member £37. The minimum age is 17. A discount of £10 is available when entering all three races in the Due North Half Marathon series.
Route and race facilities
The route passes through Malham Cove and Malham Tarn and includes a climb to Weets Top followed by a long descent. A GPX of the route is available for download.
The course is partially way marked. Drinks stations provide water and juice; runners should bring a cup or bottle as cups are not provided. Included on the day are a post‑race meal (for example pie or soup), a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and sponsor goodies. Free car parking is provided and a toilet block with male and female toilets is on the race field.
Safety, kit and prizes
Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle for drinks, and a mobile phone with a location app installed. Prize giving will cover 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions and includes categories for Male, Female, Open, Non‑Binary and first in V40, V50, V60 and V70+ age groups.
