The Malham Trail Half Marathon takes place on Saturday 5 September 2026 in Malham, UK. The event is a half marathon and is the third race in the Due North Trail Trilogy. The venue for start and finish is Malham Show Field (BD23 4DA). The race is run under UK Athletics rules and is licensed by the TRA. The minimum age is 17. Entry fees are £35 for UKA members and £37 for non-members, with a discount offered when entering all three races in the series.
Route and facilities
The route passes through Malham Cove and Malham Tarn and includes a climb to Weets Top followed by a long descent. The course is partially way marked and a GPX route is available for download. Drinks stations will provide water and juice; no cups are provided at the stations so runners should bring a cup or bottle. Facilities at the race field include a toilet block with male and female toilets and free car parking. A post-race meal is provided (examples given include pasta, pie and peas, or soup), and finishers receive a bottle of beer and event merchandise or sponsor goodies. Prize giving will include awards for top finishers and age-category placings. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, a cup or bottle for drinks, and a mobile phone with a location app. Dogs are not allowed at Due North races.
