About the race
Conquer the Coaster 5K is a 3.1 mile running event held on 11/07/2026 at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Golden Valley, located at 182 Jellystone Parkway, Bostic, NC 28018. The route runs through the campground and offers views of park amenities and scenery. The event includes access to the Blue Ridge Mountain Coaster as part of the day's activities. Child riders must be at least 3 years old and at least 38 inches tall; riders aged 3 to 9 who are under 54 inches must ride with an adult.
The coaster ride must be taken on the day of the event. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Sunshine Elementary School in Bostic, NC. Refreshments are provided after the race for all participants. Registration for the event opens 8/23/2026 and closes 11/06/2026; the registration fee is $30.00.
