Yogi's Hey Hey 5K
Yogi's Hey Hey 5K takes place on November 7, 2026 at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in Golden Valley, located at 182 Jellystone Parkway, Bostic, NC 28018. The event includes a running race and an additional nonrunning entry.

Registration opens August 23, 2026 and closes November 6, 2026. The listed registration fee is $30.00 for each event option.
As part of the event, participants will have access to the Blue Ridge Mountain Coaster. Rider rules state children must be at least 3 years old and 38 inches tall to ride. Riders aged 3 to 9 years who are under 54 inches must ride with an adult. The ride must be taken on the day of the event.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, and top three in each age group. Age groups are 5 and under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, and 95 plus.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Sunshine Elementary School in Bostic, NC. Refreshments are provided after the event for all participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
