Bear Foot 5K and Half Mile Fun Run
This community running event takes place at Sunshine Elementary School, 231 Toney Road, Bostic, NC 28018, on March 13, 2027. The program includes a timed 5K and a half mile fun run for children in 5th grade and under. Proceeds benefit Sunshine Elementary School K-5 students.
Event offerings and fees:
- 5K - 3.1 Miles, registration fee $30.00.
- Half mile fun run - 0.5 Miles, free for children 5th grade and under; this category does not include a shirt.
- Phantom runner registration is available with a $30.00 fee.
Shirt preference is offered to 5K registrants; availability is not guaranteed for late registrants. Additional shirts may be available for sale while supplies last.
Awards: Top three male and female overall finishers in the 5K receive trophies. Top three male and female in each age division receive medals. Age divisions include 5 and under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, and 95 plus.
