Yo! Taco Shrimp Run 5k
The Yo! Taco Shrimp Run 5k presented by Cypress Lake Athletic Department is scheduled for March 7, 2026, in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. The start and event location is listed as Doc Fords FMB at 708 Fishermans Warf, Fort Myers Beach 33931.
The marked 5k route crosses Matanzas Pass Bridge and returns along the roadway overlooking the beach. Course marshals and event attendees from the Shrimp Festival, along with Cypress Lake High student athletes and coaches, will direct and support participants along the route. Chip timing is provided by Beach Bum Timing.
Proceeds from the event are used to provide sporting equipment for student-athletes at Cypress Lake High School. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 10 years and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 and over.
