October Half Marathon & Distance Races
The Blair Regional YMCA in Hollidaysburg, PA will host the 17th annual October Half Marathon & Distance Races on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The event includes multiple distances that start and finish at the YMCA and feature a course with rolling hills.

Registration may be mailed, dropped off at the YMCA, or completed online. Fee tiers vary by event and by registration date, with higher rates for preregistration and day-of-race entry. The first 300 registered participants are guaranteed a cotton race shirt; a replacement bib fee of $5 applies if a bib is lost. No race registration reimbursements are offered.
The half marathon has a minimum age requirement of 16 years. Roads on all courses will remain open to traffic; participants are responsible for course familiarity and must follow cones, signs, and road marshals. Water stations will be available roughly every two miles, with gels provided at the mile 8 station. Porta johns are located near the 2.5-mile and 10.5-mile markers. Participants must reach the water station on Scotch Valley Road (near the 10.2-mile mark) within two hours or they will not receive a finishing time; options include waiting for the follow vehicle or finishing on their own while obeying traffic laws.
Race packet pickup is at Blair Regional YMCA on Thursday, October 1 (12:00pm to 8:30pm), Friday, October 2 (5:00am to 7:00pm), and race morning (6:30am to 7:30am). Awards are given immediately after the races; all half marathon finishers receive a participation medal, plus additional overall and age-group awards for each race.
