About the race
The YMCA Gobble Wobble 5K and 1 Mile is scheduled for November 26, 2026, at 1010 9th St, Wichita Falls, TX 76301. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a non-timed 1 Mile family fun run held in the downtown area.

Packet and T-shirt pick up are available the day before at the Downtown YMCA and again on race day, where registration assistance will also be offered. A race-day food drive to benefit the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank runs inside the Downtown YMCA; the first 100 registered participants who donate on race day will receive a commemorative cold weather beanie.
The route runs through downtown Wichita Falls with volunteers stationed at major intersections to assist participants and guide turns. There is a water stop on Indiana Street just past the two-mile mark. Parking is available on the southeast lot at the corner of Burnett and Ninth Street. Ninth Street will be closed from Scott Street to Austin Street during the event.
Awards for the 5K will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the form of gift cards from local businesses. Participants in the 1 Mile fun run will be entered into a prize drawing.
