YMCA Brickyard Run 45th Annual
The YMCA Brickyard Run takes place at Hobart Middle School in Hobart, Indiana. The event includes three distances and marks the 45th running of the race. The 5 Mile run is a Calumet Region Striders Gold Cup Race for ages 15 and older. The 5K is a Calumet Region Striders Gold Cup Race for ages 14 and under. A new 2K non-competitive Family Fun Run and Walk is offered as an untimed event.

The course begins on 8th Street heading east, turns onto Water Street, proceeds via E. 7th Street and Lake Street, returns to 8th Street and enters the Oak Savannah Trail for an out-and-back segment, and finishes on Lake Park Ave at Kate Corgan Field. The 5K and 5 Mile share the same start and finish points but use different turnaround points on the Oak Savannah Trail.
Entry fees vary by date: the 5K and 5 Mile are $30 on or before June 6 and $35 thereafter. The 2K is $20 on or before June 6 and $25 thereafter. Discounted pricing for children age 10 and under is $15. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after June 7. Registration opens December 30, 2025 and closes June 6, 2026.
Awards consist of trademark brick trophies for top finishers in age groups, overall winners, Masters, and special divisions such as Athena and Clydesdale. Computerized on-the-bib timing will be used. Parking is available at the Hobart Middle School lot with overflow at Joan Martin Elementary. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
