Yeti Winter Trail Series
The Yeti Winter Trail Series is a four race series held in Dixon, Illinois at the Dixon Park District Facility, 1312 Washington Ave. The series spans four months and totals 31 miles across the four events.
The course uses varied terrain including trails, roads, hills, flats, snow, ice, mud, dirt, grass, rocks, and gravel. Distances offered during the series are:
- 5K December 5, 2026
- 10K January 2, 2027
- 15K February 6, 2027
- 20K March 6, 2027
Entry fees are listed as $20 per individual distance, $80 for the entire series, and $25 for race day registration. The first 100 registered participants receive a gift. Participants who complete all four races receive a long sleeve tee; five year hoodies and ten year jackets are noted as series apparel. A blue shirt is issued only to participants who complete all four races.
Series awards are based on overall times for the entire series, and include top five male and top five female finishers. Additional awards recognize first male and female masters age 55 and over, and first male and female grandmasters age 65 and over.
Race registration fees are not refundable and registrations are not transferable to other participants or to future years events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
