Chupacabra Trail Races
Chupacabra Trail Races is an evening trail running event held in Dixon, IL at 1312 Washington Avenue. The event is organized by Meadows Monster and features looped courses on grass, gravel, and dirt. The course is roughly a 5 mile loop; distances are determined by the number of laps completed.

About the course: about 30 percent is single track and the remainder is at least 15 feet wide. There is one aid station located at the start and finish area providing water and assorted snacks. Space is available for drop bags and personal belongings. A post race snack is provided.
Entry fees are tiered by timing and event type: standard entry, day of registration, and separate relay pricing. All participants receive a tee. Day of adjustments to the number of laps are allowed and are verified at check in for timing purposes. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each individual distance and to the top relay team.
