Off-Road Multi-Sport Event in Staffordshire
XTERRA Weston Park takes place across a 1,000-acre estate in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. This event is part of the XTERRA World Tour and offers a weekend centered around off-road sports, featuring rolling hills and purpose-built singletrack trails. The venue at Weston-under-Lizard provides a setting for various trail-based competitions and includes an event village with community activities such as live music and mountain bike clinics.
Participants can choose from several off-road disciplines:
- Full Distance Triathlon: 1.5 km swim, 31 km mountain bike, 10 km run.
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 16 km mountain bike, 5 km run.
- Super Sprint Triathlon: 400 m swim, 8 km mountain bike, 3 km run.
- Short Track Triathlon: 400 m swim, 8 km mountain bike, 3 km run.
- Full Distance Duathlon: 3 km run, 30 km mountain bike, 10 km run.
- Kids Bike & Run: 2 km bike, 1 km run for ages 14 and under.
The event offers qualification slots for the XTERRA World Championship across different age categories. On-site facilities include a camping area located less than 500 meters from the course, providing showers and toilets for attendees. Participants are required to hold a British Triathlon membership or a race pass. Due to racing regulations, gravel bikes are not permitted for these competitions.
