XTERRA Weston Park
XTERRA Weston Park is a multi-day event taking place on a 1,000-acre estate in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. It is part of the XTERRA World Tour and features a weekend of off-road races.
The event includes seven distinct races. These are:
- Sprint Triathlon: a youth and junior qualifier with a 750m swim, 16km bike, and 5km run.
- Super Sprint Triathlon: a youth qualifier with a 400m swim, 8km bike, and 3km run.
- Full Distance Triathlon: an individual or team event with a 1.5km swim, 31km bike, and 10km run.
- Full Distance Duathlon: an individual or relay event involving a 3km run, 30km bike, and 10km run.
- World Cup Full Distance Triathlon: an elite-only triathlon.
- World Cup Short Track: an elite-only, invitation-only triathlon.
- Kids Bike & Run: a race for ages 14 and under with a 2km bike and 1km run.
Activities during the event weekend include live music, lakeside camping, mountain bike clinics, and swim sessions. The elite prize purse is €20,000. A British Triathlon race licence or race pass is required to participate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
