XTERRA Weston Park
XTERRA Weston Park is an off-road sports festival held within a 1,000-acre estate in Staffordshire, United Kingdom. As part of the XTERRA World Tour, the event features a variety of trail-based competitions, including off-road triathlons and duathlons. The course follows rolling hills and purpose-built singletrack throughout the grounds of Weston Park.
The event schedule spans multiple days and includes several race formats:
- World Cup Full Distance Triathlon: 1.5 km swim, 31 km bike, 10 km run (Elite only).
- Full Distance Triathlon: 1.5 km swim, 31 km bike, 10 km run for individuals and teams.
- Full Distance Duathlon: 3 km run, 30 km bike, 10 km run with relay options.
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 16 km bike, 5 km run.
- Super Sprint Triathlon: 400 m swim, 8 km bike, 3 km run.
- World Cup Short Track: 400 m swim, 8 km bike, 3 km run (Elite invitation only).
- Kids Bike & Run: 2 km bike and 1 km run for ages 14 and under.
Participants are required to hold a British Triathlon membership or purchase a race pass. Under British Triathlon rules, gravel bikes are not permitted for these races.
The venue offers on-site facilities including a camping area located less than 500 m from the start and finish lines. The festival atmosphere also features live music, mountain bike clinics, and an after-race dinner.
