About the race
Victoria X Tri is an off road cross triathlon and duathlon held at Durrance Lake in Victoria, British Columbia. The event uses the lake for swimming, the Mt. Work Mountain Bike Park for the cycling stages, and the Partridge Hills trail network for the running stages. The race is part of the BC X Tri Series, alongside the Squamish Off Road Triathlon, Cumberland’s Dodge City Cross, and Whistler X Tri.
The Championship swim consists of two counter clockwise loops of 750 m each in Durrance Lake, a small clear mountain lake, for a total of 1500 m. Course terrain is described as mountain and wilderness trails for bike and run segments. The event is hosted by Human Powered Racing and is sanctioned by Triathlon BC.
All participants must be members of TriBC or an affiliated triathlon governing body on race day. The organizer acknowledges that the land and water used for the event are on the unceded territory of the Tsartlip and Tsawout Nations. The scheduled date for the event is July 4, 2027.
