XTERRA Bromont is scheduled for Aug 22-23, 2026 at Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park and Lake Bromont beach in Bromont, Canada. The event is part of the XTERRA World Tour and takes place in the Eastern Townships, about one hour from Montreal and Vermont and under three hours from Quebec City, Ottawa and Lake Placid NY. Organizers state the courses will be challenging yet accessible and run among surrounding peaks.
Races and distances
The weekend includes multiple formats for adults and youth across triathlon, duathlon, gravel and trail-run disciplines. Distances listed on the event page include:
- 1.5K swim / 30K bike / 10K run Full distance triathlon
- 750m swim / 15K bike / 5K run Sprint triathlon
- 400m swim / 10K bike / 3K run Super sprint triathlon
- 1.5K swim / 60K bike / 10K run Gravel triathlon standard
- 1K / 5K / 10K Trail runs
- 20K Trail half marathon
- Youth duathlons for ages 6–15
Logistics and qualification
Triathlons use two transition zones; duathlons use one transition zone at the main site. Swim starts and the swim-bike transition are at Lake Bromont beach; the bike-run transition is at the Olympic Equestrian Park. There will be a shuttle for spectators and followers between the two sites - a roughly 2.0 km bus trip every 15-20 minutes; bikes are not allowed on the shuttle. The event lists eight races, requires about 80 volunteers, and provides 28 qualifying slots for XTERRA Triathlon World Championships.
