Sun Life Demi-Marathon des vignobles
The Sun Life Demi-Marathon des vignobles is a sporting event held in Saint-Paul-d'Abbotsford, Quebec. Located at 35 Rue Codaire, the event offers an experience that combines athletic activity with local flavors in the Mont Yamaska region.
Participants follow various routes set around Mont Yamaska. After completing their respective courses, runners can enjoy a tasting of exquisite wines produced by local vineyards. The event is organized with the support of the Ville de Saint-Paul-d'Abbotsford and several partners.
There are multiple distances and disciplines available for participants:
- 21.1 km
- 10 km (running or walking)
- 5 km (running or walking)
- 1 km (reserved for children aged 12 and under)
For the 5 km and 10 km walking events, participants are required to maintain a walking gait as this is treated as a distinct discipline from running. Regarding the 1 km youth race, an adult is permitted to accompany a child during the run without a separate registration.
