Triathlon at the Heart of Montérégie : Saint-Césaire
The event takes place at the sport-pool complex in Saint-Césaire within the MRC de Rouville in the Montérégie region. The 6th edition is scheduled for August 23, 2026. The site has several free parking areas and is accessible from Route 112 and Highway 10 exit 48.
The course combines pool swimming, cycling on closed and secured roads, and a running loop. Swimming is held in a 4-lane 25 meter pool. Pool starts are staged with one person per lane and departures every 5 seconds; 3 to 4 people per lane are expected. Participants remain responsible for counting their own laps.
The bike course is mainly flat on a recently renovated road and uses a 2.75 km loop. The run is a flat 2.5 km loop completed once or twice depending on distance.
Main distances
- Sprint : 3 x 2.75 km bike loops plus 3.5 km added equals 20 km total
- Initiation : 1 x 2.75 km bike loop plus 3.5 km added equals 9 km total
Rules and services include mandatory helmet use, no earphones, no drafting, wetsuits prohibited, an athlete kit with swim cap, timed results including transition, water stations, mechanical support on site, gel samples, non‑nominative photos, access to changing rooms and the athlete village, and a locally made wooden participation medal.
