About the race
XLR8 Obstacle Course Event is an outdoor obstacle event at 1633 Mandurah Road, Baldivis, WA. The course features more than 30 obstacles described as high and low, muddy and varied. Participants can choose from multiple course distances:
- 3 km – includes all obstacles with less running
- 5 km – additional distance with timed options
- 7 km – longer course for higher distance
- 10 km – extended distance with more obstacles
- 14 km – longest option available for groups of five or more
The event is open to people aged 12 years and over. A cut-off time of 2.5 hours applies to all distances. Entry conditions include acceptance of the organiser’s terms and a liability waiver that outlines risks, medical responsibilities, and permission for the organiser to use event media. Participants with existing medical conditions must provide a physician-signed Medical Release Form before participating.
Ticketing notes in the event information state that tickets are non-refundable and not transferable, and that tickets purchased on the day (if available) incur an additional cash fee. Organisers provide guidance on what to bring, including an Eventbrite ticket (mobile preferred), at least one water bottle, a towel, clean clothes and shoes for after the event, and optional protective gear such as knee or ankle support and gloves.
