Bi-State Challenge - STAR Racing
The Bi-State Challenge is a two-day set of USATF-sanctioned races held in New Jersey and New York on June 6 and 7, 2026. Full marathon courses carry USATF certification: Saddle River County Park (NJ) USATF Certificate #NJ20023JLW and Rockland Lake State Park (NY) USATF Certificate #NY21001JRG. All courses are described as flat and paved with scenic views of the Saddle River and Rockland Lake.
Saddle River County Park, Rochelle Park, NJ: one full lap is about 2 miles. The course uses repeated laps and includes a single aid station at the finish line offering hydration and nourishment. Note that the Lotz Lane entrance is closed; enter via Railroad Avenue. Distances:
- Full Marathon: 13 full laps plus 0.2 miles
- Half Marathon: 6 full laps plus 1.1 miles
- 5K: 1 full lap plus 1.1 miles
Rockland Lake State Park, Valley Cottage, NY - Parking Lot #5: one full lap is 2.935 miles. The course uses repeated laps and includes a single aid station at the finish line offering hydration and nourishment. Enter the park from the south entrance on Lake Road. - Full Marathon: 8 full laps plus 2.72 miles
- Half Marathon: 4 full laps plus 1.36 miles
- 5K: 1 full lap plus 0.16 miles
