Xcelsior Marathon
The Xcelsior Marathon is part of a two-day event. This race takes place on June 7, 2026, at Rockland Lake State Park in Valley Cottage, New York. Parking is at Lot #5.
The event offers three distances: a 5K, a half marathon, and a full marathon. The courses are run on multiple loops on paved paths. The full marathon course consists of 8 full laps plus 2.72 miles. One full lap is 2.935 miles. There is a single aid station at the finish line that provides hydration and nourishment for runners.
Course and Logistics
The course is described as flat and paved, with scenic views of Rockland Lake. The aid station and bib pick-up location is inside the park, and the starting line is about a quarter-mile north of that point.
