Event overview
The Wyoming Valley Striders 20K Run is held in Shickshinny, PA, on the Susquehanna Warrior Trail. The event includes an out-and-back 20K and is being held alongside a new 5K on the same day. The race will be chip timed. Water stations are provided at mile 4 and mile 8, and individual water bottles are available at the finish.

Registration and fees
Runners must pre-register online; race day entries will not be accepted. Online registration closes Friday, November 7, 2025 at noon. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Entry fees vary by registration period and membership status; earlier registrants receive a commemorative hoodie. WVS members receive a discounted fee using a club discount code; non-members may purchase a one-year WVS membership for $12 to receive the discount code. Race fee includes a commemorative hoodie for entrants who register by the end of day on October 11, 2025. Hoodies not picked up on race day will not be held or mailed.
Race day, awards and rules
Pre-entry packet pick-up is under the pavilion at Oak and North Canal Streets. The course starts and finishes at the Susquehanna Warrior Trail in Shickshinny, PA. Awards include 50th Anniversary medals for top male and female overall and top three male and female finishers in each age group. Animals and baby strollers are not permitted. If the race is cancelled by the host facility or the WVS, 2025 pre-entries will be deferred to next year; no refunds will be given. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
