About the race
The Run For The Diamonds is an annual Thanksgiving Day road race held in Berwick, Pennsylvania, at the Elks Lodge (117 West 2nd Street). The event is organized as a nine-mile road race and has a long history, having begun in 1908 and been cancelled only in 1918 and 1919.
Registration is offered in defined windows with different fees: Sept 1 to Nov 2 at $35 plus a $3 processing fee, and Nov 3 to Nov 21 at $45 plus a $3 processing fee. Race day registration is available in person only, payable by cash or check for $50. The race fee is refundable if the event is cancelled; the $3 processing fee is non-refundable.
Packet pickup is scheduled at the Elks Lodge on the day before the race and on race day. The first 1,300 registered runners receive a long sleeve moisture-wicking shirt. The course record award is set at $3,000. The event will follow applicable State and CDC guidelines in effect at the time of the race.
