Event Overview
The Wyoming PSA 5K is a community-focused running event held in Cincinnati, Ohio. Host organization Wyoming PSA organizes this inaugural race to financially support students and programs within the Wyoming City Schools. All proceeds from the event are directed back to the student body to enhance their educational and extracurricular experiences.
Course Details
The race takes place on a flat course through the village of Wyoming. Participants will complete a 5 km distance consisting of a two-lap route. The course begins at the village green and passes several local landmarks, including the Wyoming City Building and Wyoming High School, before returning to the green for the finish. The event features chip timing provided by Running Time Race Services using disposable bib tags.
Distance and Categories
Registration is open to all ages, with specific age divisions for awards:
- 5 km run/walk
Awards are presented to the top male and female finishers in various categories, ranging from 8 and under to 70 and older.
Amenities and Logistics
Participants who register by the specified deadline receive a T-shirt, available in both youth and adult sizes. The event concludes with a post-race gathering at the village green, featuring a DJ and snacks. Strollers are permitted on the course; however, pets are not allowed for safety reasons.
