Cincinnati Thanksgiving Day Race
The Cincinnati Thanksgiving Day Race is an annual set of road races that includes multiple events and a post-race recovery area at TQL Stadium. The event features a long-standing 10 km race, the Western & Southern 10K, which is presented as the 117th running of that race and starts and finishes at TQL Stadium. The event program also lists a TDR 5K and the ProAmpac Kids Fun Run.
Participants in the Western & Southern 10K receive a commemorative race bib, a custom finisher’s medal, and an official finisher’s certificate. After crossing the finish line, runners can visit the Pella Recovery Zone to collect a swag bag, listen to a DJ, and refuel with a banana and a beverage. Adults age 21 and over may redeem a tear-off tag on their race bib for one complimentary race beer at the Carl and Martha Linder Plaza at the top of TQL Stadium’s grand staircase; the beer is produced in collaboration with Streetside Brewing.
Race services include packet pick-up through Fleet Feet and event merchandise such as a commemorative long-sleeved shirt and a Cincy Hat. Race policies state that strollers are allowed (start toward the back for safety), no refunds are issued, only service animals are permitted on course, and motorized vehicles are not allowed.
