About the race
The Straight Street Hill Climb is a multi-discipline hill event held in Cincinnati, Ohio at 500 Straight Street. The sequence of on-course events follows a run/walk/ruck climb first, then a bike climb, and finally a duathlon. Both in-person and virtual participation options are offered.
Multiple single-entry and combination entries are available, including separate Run Only, Rucking, Bike Only, and Duathlon events, plus combination options that pair or combine those events into two- or three-event entries. A volunteer role is offered to assist at the top of the hill with check-in and the finish line.
Registration for the event is handled online, including race day registration. Entry fees vary by event type, ranging from no fee for volunteers to modest entry fees for competitive and virtual options.
Distances listed for events include:
- 0.36 miles
- 0.72 miles
- 1.44 miles
- 1.8 miles
- 2.16 miles
Virtual Run and Virtual Bike options are included. Some combination entries sequence one event after another, for example the Run followed by the Bike, and the Duathlon placed after the Run and Bike events when applicable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
