Wymondham New Year's Day 10k
The Wymondham New Year's Day 10 km is set on undulating, quiet rural roads on the outskirts of Wymondham. The course starts and finishes on Lady's Lane. Race headquarters are at Wymondham Central Hall, Back Lane, NR18 0QB (what3words: monkey.elated.cropping). Number collection opens at 07:45 on race day.
Entry options are listed as affiliated and unaffiliated with entry prices of £19 and £21 respectively. The minimum age on the day for all entrants is 15 years. The event holds race licence number 31605.
Facilities and race arrangements include a water station at approximately halfway, additional water and snacks at the finish, and a bespoke medal for all finishers. Portable toilets will be available in the Central Hall car park; the toilets inside the hall will not be accessible. Additional toilets are noted near the Market Street car park entrance (what3words: wobbling.dollar.direct). Tea, coffee and cakes will be available at Race HQ in return for a charity donation.
Safety and access notes: the race is run on roads that are not closed to traffic, so headphones of any kind are not permitted and runners must be able to hear marshal and traffic instructions. Running with buggies or dogs is not permitted. There is no bag drop. Spectators are not allowed down Lady's Lane during the race and will be directed to a diversion point; organisers will provide a map before the day.
Trophies will be awarded in a range of age categories on the day and full results will be posted later. Entries are non-refundable; transfers to another runner are available until midnight on 16/12/2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
