Event overview
Run Snetterton takes place on 29 July 2026 at Snetterton Race Track in South Norfolk and is organised by Good Running Events. The event uses the flat tarmac of the race circuit, including the 300 circuit, with the main start and finish on the racetrack. The programme offers the following distances:
- 10K - minimum age 15 years
- 5K - minimum age 11 years
The event is chip timed. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and finish goodies. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each distance. Photos and video will be taken and shared with entrants after the race. The 10K field is started before the 5K field.
Practical information
Runners must display their bib number and write their name, any medical condition, and an emergency contact on the reverse where requested. There is a time limit of 1 hour for the 5K and 1 hour 30 minutes for the 10K. Medical teams are present onsite; marshals can radio for assistance if needed.
The course has at least one water station for the 10K only; none is provided on the 5K. In-ear headphones are banned; bone-conduction headphones are permitted under England Athletics rules if marshal instructions remain audible. The surface is road tarmac and appropriate footwear should be worn. Entries are non-refundable; transfers to another runner are allowed until 16 July 2026.
