Event overview
The 2026 Summer Boudicca Way 50km Ultra is a 50 km ultramarathon on 12 September 2026 in Norfolk. The route follows the Boudicca Way long distance path from Diss to Trowse, Norwich, running roughly parallel to the old Roman Road (A140) and passing through the villages of Pulham Market, Fritton, Saxlingham, Stoke Holy Cross and Caistor St. Edmund. The event is organised by Boghopper Races Ltd, licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UK Athletics rules. The field is limited to 250 participants and the minimum age on race day is 20 years old. Runners and walkers may take part.
Race logistics and entries
The race starts at Hope Church, Diss, and has a 10 hour time limit to reach the finish in Trowse, Norwich. Entry fees are listed as £65 for UKA members and £67 for non-members, with no extra admin or processing fees. Included with entry are a unique medal, food and drink at checkpoints, GPS tracking, first aid services, a light meal and hot drinks at the finish, and prizes for the first three finishers in Female and Male/Open categories. One pound from every entry will be donated to Norfolk Trails. A £2 fee reduction applies for members of an affiliated UK Athletics running club or the Trail Running Association.
