2026 Summer Boudicca Way 50km Ultra
The event is a 50 km ultramarathon held in Norfolk following the Boudicca Way long distance path from Diss to Norwich. The route runs parallel to the old Roman road and passes through Pulham Market, Fritton, Saxlingham, Stoke Holy Cross and Caistor St. Edmund. Runners and walkers are both allowed to enter.
The race is described as beginner friendly and offers a 10 hour cutoff to reach the finish. Transport links to the start and finish are described as easy, with railway stations a short walk from both. The field is limited to 250 participants and the minimum age on race day is 20.
Entries are managed through an online system. Entry fees are listed as £65 for UKA members and £67 for non members with no extra administration fees. Entries open on 21 July 2025 and close on 29 August 2026; entries so far are recorded.
Included with entry are a unique medal, food and drink at checkpoints, GPS tracking, first aid services, a light meal and hot drinks at the finish, and prizes for the first three finishers in Female and Male/Open categories. One pound from every entry is donated to Norfolk Trails and a small fee reduction is available for certain affiliated members.
