The Summer Boudicca Way 50km Ultra is a 50km ultramarathon along the Boudicca Way long distance path in Norfolk, from Diss to Trowse, Norwich. The route runs parallel to the old Roman Road (now the A140) and passes through Pulham Market, Fritton, Saxlingham, Stoke Holy Cross and Caistor St. Edmund. The event is open to runners and walkers and is limited to 250 participants. The minimum age on race day is 20 years old. The event is organised by Boghopper Races Ltd and is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and held under UK Athletics Rules.
Entries, fees and services
Entries open 21 July 2025 and close 29 August 2026. Entry fees are listed as £65.00 for UKA members and £67.00 for non members, with no extra admin or processing fees. The entry fee includes a unique medal, food and drink at checkpoints, GPS tracking, first aid services, and a light meal with hot drinks at the finish. Prizes are offered for the first three finishers in both Female and Male/Open categories. One pound from every entry will be donated to Norfolk Trails, and a £2 fee reduction applies for members of a club affiliated to UK Athletics or the Trail Running Association. There is an option to purchase a race t-shirt. Transfers to another participant are permitted up to 05 September 2026; deferrals are not allowed. Refund protection is offered as an optional purchase.
