2026 Summer Boudicca Way 50km Ultra

The Summer Boudicca Way 50km Ultra is an ultramarathon held in Norfolk, following the ancient Boudicca Way Long Distance Path. The route begins at Hope Church in Diss and travels north to finish in Trowse, Norwich. The trail runs parallel to the old Roman Road and passes through several local villages, including Pulham Market, Fritton, Saxlingham, Stoke Holy Cross, and Caistor St. Edmund.

The event is open to both runners and walkers, with a course cut-off time of 10 hours. The route is supported by easy transport links, with railway stations located within a short walking distance of both the start and finish lines. The event is licensed by the Trail Runners Association and operates under UK Athletics rules.

The participant capacity is limited to 250 individuals, and all entrants must be at least 20 years old on the day of the race. Entry fees include GPS tracking for the duration of the event, first aid services, and access to checkpoints stocked with food and drink. Upon completion, participants receive a medal, along with a light meal and hot drinks at the finish line.

Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in the Female and Male/Open categories. One pound from every entry fee is donated to Norfolk Trails to support the maintenance and development of the path. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
