About the race
The WWF BC Place Climb for Nature is a fundraising stadium climb at BC Place in Vancouver on October 24, 2026. Participants climb the stadium stands on a marked course in either the single bowl option (about 3,000 steps up and down) or the double bowl option (about 6,000 steps up and down). Climbs can be completed individually or as part of a team.
There is a registration fee and a minimum fundraising requirement: adults pay a $20 registration fee with a $50 minimum fundraising amount, and kids and youth pay a $10 registration fee with a $30 minimum fundraising amount. The minimum fundraising must be submitted before or on climb day to be eligible to climb. Participants check in on event day to collect a timing device and receive an official climb time t-shirt and rewards after finishing.
A section of seating will be reserved for spectators. Corporate team participation is offered as an option for workplaces. The event is described as family friendly.
Funds raised support WWF Canada’s ten year Regenerate Canada plan, which includes restoring at least 1 million hectares of habitat, stewarding 100 million hectares of ecosystems, and reducing carbon emissions by 30 million tonnes through restoration and protection efforts.
