About the race
The WWF BC Place Climb for Nature is an in‑stadium fundraising climb at BC Place in Vancouver on October 24, 2026. Participants climb the stadium stands on a marked course in the lower bowl, alongside other climbers, and receive an official climb time t‑shirt and rewards at the finish.
Climb options:
- Single bowl (~3,000 steps up and down)
- Double bowl (~6,000 steps up and down)
Entry is available for individuals and teams, including corporate teams. The event is described as family friendly and provides a reserved seating section for spectators.
There is a registration fee and a minimum fundraising requirement. The stated fees and minimums are: adults pay a registration fee of $20 and must raise at least $50; kids, youth (under 18) and students pay a registration fee of $10 and must raise at least $30. Fundraising must be submitted before or on climb day to be eligible to climb.
On event day participants check in and collect a timing device before completing the marked course in the lower bowl. Funds raised support WWF Canada’s Regenerate Canada plan, including goals to restore at least one million hectares, steward 100 million hectares, and reduce carbon emissions by 30 million tonnes.
