Riverbender
Riverbender is a community running event held at Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park in Burnaby, British Columbia on December 12, 2026. The event offers two measured road and trail distances that follow the bend of the Fraser River through Foreshore Park.
The course is described as flat and fast, using uninterrupted bike paths and wide gravel trails. Runners can expect river views and local winter wildlife along the route, including observations of eagle nests.

Registration includes a unique finishers medal, a beer voucher redeemable at Steel & Oak Brewing Co., professional timing with bib and chip, and a well marked and accurately measured course. The event supports KidSport New West; donations can be made during registration or from the event page.
Registration policies note that there are no refunds and no deferrals. Transfers are possible through the Race Roster platform. A paid optional refund insurance is available; only participants who selected that insurance can receive a full refund. If the event is cancelled for reasons such as weather or other circumstances, organizers will provide a discount toward next year’s event.
