Wurst Run Ever 5K
The Wurst Run Ever is a community 5K event held in Norfolk, Nebraska, on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The race starts and finishes at Johnson Park in Norfolk. The course route is provided to participants and is included in the race packet. Participants may run or walk the course.
Registered participants receive event swag that includes the official race t-shirt, a participation medal, a Wurst Run Ever stein, a drink ticket for the Oktoberfest celebration, and a complimentary bratwurst. T-shirt availability is linked to early registration and swag is not guaranteed for late registrants. Registration fees increase as the event approaches; early pricing is listed as $30, with later registration tiers shown at higher amounts. There is no race day registration.
Packet pick up is available at Johnson Park on the Friday before the race and on the morning of the race at specified times. Communication about the event will be sent by email and text, and announcements will be posted on the Norfolk Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
