No Shame Shindig
No Shame Shindig is a multi-distance trail running event held at Willow Creek State Recreation Area near Pierce, Nebraska. The recreation area sits on the 700 acre Willow Creek Reservoir, about 4 miles southwest of Pierce and about 15 miles northwest of Norfolk. The site is managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

The course uses an 8-mile limestone hike and bike trail. Organizers are deciding whether to include a 2-mile connector trail to Pierce as part of the routes.
Willow Creek SRA offers several camping options including Electric Plus, Electric, Basic, Equestrian Electric Plus, and Equestrian Basic sites. Willow Way Campground has 165 campsites with electricity and additional basic campsites. On-site amenities include picnic tables, fire ring grills, drinking water, a dump and fill station, modern restrooms, showers, and laundry. The dump and fill station is also available in the town of Pierce, about 5 miles from the lake next to the Pierce County Courthouse. Half of the campsites accept reservations; the remainder are first-come, first-served using an iron ranger with self-service envelopes and payment by check or cash.
Participant items include a T shirt, SpeedCup, bib belt, and cooling towel. Finishers receive a medal, and the top male and female finishers in each distance receive a custom plaque.
