WTRC Turkey Trot

The West Texas Running Club holds the 34th annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day 2026 at the Fibermax Center for Discovery, 1121 Canyon Lake Dr., Lubbock, TX. The event offers two distances including a USATF certified 12K (USATF Certified #TX12147ETM).

Registration opens October 10, 2026. Registrations submitted by midnight November 15 are guaranteed a shirt size. Entry fees are listed as $25 for members and non member children ages 4 to 12, and $35 for non members for both distances. Participation is limited to 1500 entrants. There is no race day registration and no refunds.

Packet pickup is available on the Tuesday and Wednesday before the race at FootTech on 19th Street, or on race day at the Fibermax Center. T shirts are provided. Age requirements are 4 and older for the 2 Mile, 16 and older for the 12K, and 18 and older to use strollers in the 2 Mile. Pets are not allowed on the course.
