About the race
Cupid's Chase 5K Lubbock takes place on February 13, 2027, at Mackenzie Main City Park in Lubbock, Texas. The event is part of a national race series that celebrates the founding of Community Options and is presented as the 19th annual local race. The race distance is *5K*. It is a certified course with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race.
The event is fully accessible and pet friendly; all pets must remain leashed at all times. The event runs rain or shine and all registration fees are non refundable. Awards and giveaways are listed for participants. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers.
Age group medals are awarded to the overall male and female finishers in these groups: 12 and under, 13 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69 and 70 and over. Giveaways include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. Shirts are available while supplies last. Registration for the local 5K opens on June 9, 2026 and the listed registration fee is $40.00.
