Carol of Lights Run
The Carol of Lights Run is an evening running event held on the Texas Tech University campus. The campus is illuminated by more than 25,000 colored lights that highlight many buildings. The event offers two course options and aims to accommodate families and community participants.

- 1 Mile
The 5K course includes a lap through Jones AT&T Stadium. Carolers perform along the course and participants receive Santa’s treats after crossing the finish line. Participants who register by November 29, 2026 are guaranteed a race T-shirt.
Packet pickup is mandatory and is scheduled the day before the event at QuarterFour, 6524 Slide Rd, Lubbock TX. The primary race location is Texas Tech University Memorial Circle near the Chemistry Building.
Volunteer roles listed for the event include packet pickup support, water stops, finish line duties and course support. Volunteers receive official race shirts and event goodies.
