ZigZag - 2027 WTF (Where's The Finish)
This is a timed, multi-lap running event held on Sunday 10 January 2027 at Brandon Country Park in Thetford Forest, Brandon, Suffolk (postcode IP27 0SU). The course is a 5.3 km lap on gravel footpaths with some grass sections, forming a multi-terrain loop.
Participants choose between two duration options: a six hour option or a four hour option. Runners complete as many laps as they wish within their chosen duration and may continue on an additional lap if they reach the event cut-off in time. The event includes an aid station located at the race HQ/base camp at the lap point.
Distances that can be recorded during the event include:
- Official 5 km distance
- Official 10 km distance
- Half marathon distance
- Marathon distance
- Ultra distances by completing additional laps
Race logistics include marshals directing parking, chargeable parking at the park, and a registration area for bib collection. A baggage area is provided but items are left at the entrant's own risk; many participants pass their parked car each lap. There is no mandatory kit list and the organiser suggests road trainers but notes trail shoes may be useful depending on prior weather.
Entries are limited to 300 entrants, entries close 08/01/2027, and minimum age is 18 years. Medal options include a bespoke event medal or a lucky dip finisher medal and virtual entries are offered for remote participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
