Event Overview
WTF - Where's The Finish? is a multi-lap running event held in the heart of Thetford Forest at Brandon Country Park. The course follows a 5.3 km loop through the forest, utilizing a combination of gravel footpaths and grass areas. This multi-terrain layout allows participants to complete as many laps as they choose within a specific time limit.
Participants have the flexibility to choose their total distance on the day, with common options including:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
Format and Course
The race is designed as a time-limited challenge where runners can choose between a 6-hour or 4-hour session. As long as a runner leaves the Base Camp before the time limit expires, they are permitted to complete an additional lap. The event functions with a central Race HQ where an aid station is situated at the start and end of every lap. Runners may rest between laps or stop whenever they have reached their personal goal distance.
Logistics and Facilities
The event is cupless, requiring all participants to bring their own bottles or cups for refilling at the water station. A designated baggage area is available at the start, though participants also have the option to access their own vehicles each lap. Marshals are present to assist with parking and registration. While road trainers are often suitable for the forest paths, trail shoes may be used depending on weather conditions. All finishers receive a medal, with options for a bespoke event-specific design or a lucky dip finisher medal.
