Event Information

The Wrexham 10K takes place on Sunday, 26th April 2026. The event is a 10 km running race with a minimum age requirement of 15 years old.

The Course

The start and finish area is on Queen Street in the centre of Wrexham. The route begins and ends in the town centre and includes a countryside section in the middle. It features a blend of fast sections and some small inclines.

Race Day Details

Roads on the course will be fully closed for safety. There is a race cut-off time of 90 minutes; roads will reopen based on this pace, and runners falling behind may be asked to withdraw. One water station is provided around the halfway point and at the start/finish area. Participants are encouraged to bring a suitable bottle. Music will be playing at the start/finish area, and there will be a help desk.

For Participants

Parking is available in multiple town centre car parks, a short walk from the start/finish. All finishers receive a medal and goodies. Awards are given for the top three male and female runners overall, plus seven age-group awards for each gender.

For Spectators and Residents

Spectators are advised to watch from Queen Street or from pavements along the route and must listen to marshals. Residents are informed that roads will be closed; cars should be moved before closures begin at 08:15 if needed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
