Event overview
The Wrexham 10K is a road running event held on Sunday 26th April 2026 in Wrexham. The race starts and finishes on Queen Street in the town centre. The event is open to participants aged 15 and over. Finishers receive a medal and event goodies. Prizes are given to the top three male and top three female finishers and there are seven age-group awards for both men and women.
Route and logistics
The course combines town centre roads around Wrexham with a countryside section in the middle. The route includes mainly fast sections with some small inclines. Roads are fully closed for the safety of runners and volunteers; spectators are asked to follow marshal instructions and remain off the course until runners have passed. There is a race cut-off time of 90 minutes and roads will re-open in line with this pace.
Parking is available in multiple town centre car parks within a short walk of the start and finish. Organisers plan one water station around the halfway point and water at the start and finish areas; runners are encouraged to bring a suitable bottle. A music area and a help desk will be at the race start and finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
