Wrexham 10K
The Wrexham 10K takes place on Sunday 26th April 2026 with race headquarters, start and finish located on Queen Street in the centre of Wrexham. The event uses town centre roads and nearby countryside lanes to form the route.
The course is a 10 km route that includes a countryside section in the middle and a mix of faster stretches and some small inclines. Organisers provide one water station around the halfway point and additional water at the start and finish areas. Finishers receive a medal and event goodies. The minimum age to enter is 15 years and the race has a 90 minute cut off time.
Roads on the route are fully closed for runner safety and marshals direct spectators to stay off the course until runners have passed. Parking for runners and spectators is available within a short walk of the start and finish; the town centre has multiple car parks. Organisers plan to have music and a help desk at the start and finish area.
Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers, plus seven age group awards for both males and females. Residents should note there will be temporary road closures and plan travel accordingly. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
