Wrexham 10K
The Wrexham 10k is scheduled for Sunday 26 April 2026. The event brings together runners taking part for fitness, competition, charity or personal goals. Minimum age for entry is 15 years. Finishers receive a medal and event goodies. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers, plus seven age-group awards for both male and female categories.
Logistics and course
The race start and finish are on Queen Street in the centre of Wrexham. The route combines town centre roads with countryside lanes, featuring a mix of faster sections and some small inclines, and includes public pavements along much of the course. Roads will be fully closed for the event; marshals will manage the course and roads will re-open in line with the race cut-off, which is 90 minutes. Spectators are asked to stay off the course until runners have passed and to follow marshal instructions. Parking is available in multiple town centre car parks, with a short walk to the start/finish area. Organisers provide one water station roughly halfway on the route and water at the start/finish area; a help desk and music will be present near the finish.
