Event overview
The Wrexham 10K takes place on 26th April 2026 in Wrexham. The event is a 10K road run with the race headquarters, start and finish located on Queen Street in the centre of Wrexham. Minimum age to take part is 15 years. All finishers receive a medal and additional goodies. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers, plus seven age-group awards for both sexes.
Race and logistics
The course passes through Wrexham town centre and includes a countryside section with a mix of faster sections and some small inclines. Roads on the route will be fully closed for safety; roads will re-open in line with event pacing and the race has a 90 minute cut-off. If a runner falls behind the required pace they may be asked to withdraw. Organisers plan to provide one water station around the halfway point and water at the start and finish; runners are encouraged to bring a suitable bottle. Multiple town centre car parks are within a short walk of the start/finish. Race day facilities at the start/finish include music and a help desk. A course map is available for the event.
