Worcester Cinco 5K
The Worcester Cinco 5K is a city road event held in Downtown Worcester, MA on May 3, 2026. The program includes a 5K run/walk, a set of short kids races for young children, and a virtual 5K option. The event takes place on or near Main Street in Worcester, MA 01608.
The race is part of the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, a three race 5K series. Participants in all three Triple Crown races receive a finisher’s medal awarded at the Worcester Cinco K finish line. The Worcester Cinco 5K supports the nonprofit El Buen Samaritano and the organizer collects donations on race day for items such as nonperishable foods, blankets and warm socks, hygiene products, school supplies and grocery gift cards.
Awards include top three overall placements, age group awards for multiple age ranges from under 19 through 70 plus, top three boys and girls in the kids races, and a team award scored on chip time. Individual awards are scored on gun time. Online registration tiers vary by date and walk up registration is available on race weekend. Race policies note that no pets are allowed and refunds are not offered.
Packet pickup occurs before race day at a local store and on race day at Worcester City Hall. T shirts are not guaranteed for walk up registrations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
