Woodland Trail Series
The Tri-Valley Frontrunners Woodland Trail Series takes place at West Hill Dam in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. This series is held annually during the early evenings on the last Thursday of June, July, and August. The event consists of three distinct trail races, with each date featuring a different route to highlight the various landscape features of the park.
Participants navigate through a variety of terrain including well-marked single-track trails, double-track trails, and gravel roads. To be eligible for the overall male and female championship titles, runners must complete all three races in the series.
Registration for these events remains limited to 125 runners per race to manage local capacity. There is no registration available on the day of the event. Due to limited parking availability at the site, the gate access to the starting area closes approximately one hour before the first two race starts. Alternative parking is available at the entrance of the Dam, which requires a 3/4 mile run to reach the starting line.
For safety and insurance considerations, dogs are not permitted to participate in the races. Additionally, the courses used for this series are not compatible with strollers. While primarily designed for runners, individuals intending to walk portions of the course may request an earlier start to accommodate volunteer schedules.
