The Arnold Mills Road Race takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The event features a single road race distance of 4 miles and is held in conjunction with the town's annual Fourth of July parade. The course runs through a rural area of the community.
Location and logistics
The start and finish are located near the Cumberland Fire Department - Station 5 at 50 Arnold Mills Drive, Cumberland, RI 02864. Packet pickup for pre-registered participants is scheduled for July 3 at The Lodge at Diamond Hill, 4097 Diamond Hill Road. Race-day packet pickup and on-site registration are available at the Cumberland Fire Department on race morning.
T-shirt distribution is provided to the first 500 entrants. Parking will be available at the Community School, 15 Arnold Mills Road, and on Quaker Road, both a short distance from the start and finish area.
Registration and pricing
Online registration opens January 1, 2026. Entry fees vary by date and age category: $25 for participants 18 and under; $25 through May 31; $30 through early July; and $35 at packet pickup or on race day. On-site registration is available.
