The Kerri "D" Sour Apple Running Festival
The event takes place on July 12, 2026 at Deerfield Park in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The start and finish are located at Deerfield Park, and the course setup places the half marathon in rural roads with limited traffic. The half marathon course is certified by USATF.

The half marathon course is described as a little hilly, with the final two miles downhill or flat. The 5K is also a little hilly and finishes downhill. The half marathon has a four hour time limit. The race uses chip timing.
Course support and facilities include seven water stations along the half marathon course and one water stop on the 5K. There are two porta potties on the half marathon course. All participants receive a finishers medal, and trophies are awarded to the overall male and female finishers in both the half marathon and the 5K.
Packet pick up is race day only. To receive a race day t-shirt, registration must be completed online before July 2; after that date a shirt cannot be guaranteed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
