Southern Lights Stroll
The Kentucky Horse Park Foundation organizes the annual Southern Lights Stroll and 5K, hosted at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. This event allows participants to view seasonal light displays while moving through the park grounds.
Participants can choose between two main options:
- 5K (competitive and timed)
- Stroll (untimed)
The event includes various amenities for those who pre-register. T-shirts are provided for the first 2,000 adults who sign up. Children aged 12 and under can participate for free, while those in the 7-12 age group have the option to include a shirt with their registration for an additional fee.
Registration for the competitive 5K and the untimed Stroll is open to the public, with different pricing tiers based on the date of registration. The course transitions through the park's scenic areas and features decorated light installations. Gates at the venue open in the late afternoon to welcome visitors before the activities begin.
