Wood Memorial Trout Run
The Wood Memorial Trout Run is presented by the Kalkaska High School cross country and track and field programs. It is a community road event held in Kalkaska, Michigan on April 25, 2026. Net proceeds support the Kalkaska High School cross country and track and field teams.

Registration for the events opens March 9, 2026. Registration for the 5K and 10K closes April 19, 2026; registration for the 1 Mile remains open through April 25, 2026. Registration fees are listed as $30.00 for the 5K and 10K and no fee for the 1 Mile. Entrants who register by April 1, 2026 are guaranteed a T-shirt.
The event includes an early packet pickup on April 24 in the middle school gym lobby. The race hosts a partnership with Sneakers4Good to collect gently used athletic shoes for global donation.
