Mari Vineyards Wine Run 5K

The Mari Vineyards Wine Run 5K takes place on April 12, 2026 at Mari Vineyards, 8175 Center Rd, Traverse City, MI 49686. The event is a timed, chip-scored 5K with results posted online and professional timing provided by J3 Timing. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine; minors receive a shirt, medal and bib but do not receive a wine glass or a pour of wine.

Course, logistics and awards

The course starts and finishes at the winery and runs through vines and grass. It is a mostly cross-country style route with areas of uneven footing and is laid out as two laps; participants may stop after one lap if they prefer. The event uses wave starts. Packet pickup is race-day only. A virtual participation option is available with either race-day packet pickup or shipped packets (shipping and handling fees apply).

The event names the Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center as its local charity partner. Age group awards are offered for top finishers in each category; winners must start with the first wave to be eligible and awards are available for pickup on race day only.
