Event details
The Mari Vineyards Wine Run is a chip-timed 5K road/cross-country event held at Mari Vineyards in Traverse City, Michigan on April 12, 2026. The event is open to ages 1 to 99 and shows a registration price of $35 with a discounted price of $25 for ages 1–20. Timing and official results are provided by J3 Timing and results are posted online.
Course
The route starts and finishes at the winery and runs through vineyard and grassy areas. The course is described as mostly cross-country with areas of uneven footing and uses a two-lap format. The surface includes vines and grass; runners and walkers should expect uneven ground.
Registration, packet pickup and options
Registered participants receive a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, and a chip-timed race bib. The registration also includes a wine pour, though minors do not receive the glass or pour. Packet pickup is race day only; participants are advised to arrive early to pick up items. A virtual participation option is available; packets can be shipped for an additional fee.
Charity and awards
The event names Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center as the local charity partner. Age-group awards are offered in 10-year categories; awards are available for pickup on race day and results should be checked online for placement.
