Wonder Run 5K and Kids Fun Run, Wellesley MA
The Wonder Run is an annual road race presented by the Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club as part of Wellesley's Wonderful Weekend. The main event is a USATF certified 5K course that follows a scenic route through Wellesley and starts and finishes at the Wellesley High School track. A separate kids fun run takes place on the high school track with two age-based races.
Proceeds from the event support scholarships for local students and grants to organizations and programs that provide education, enrichment, and essential services to the local community. Parking is available at Wellesley High School and at metered spaces along Route 16.
Registration details provided by the organizer include early online and week of race fees, an early registration deadline of May 10, a cap of 200 participants for the kids fun run, and a swag bag for the first 150 registrants. Bib pick-up information will be announced by the organizers. Children may choose to enter the 5K instead of the fun run.
