Women's Run Series Manchester 5K & 10K
The event offers organised 5K and 10K races starting and finishing at MediaCity Piazza in MediaCity UK, Salford. The course uses a 2.5 km loop through MediaCity, crossing the Millennium Bridge, passing the Imperial War Museum North, and running alongside the ITV and BBC studios. Each kilometre is marked and marshals are positioned around the course.
Entry includes a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos, post-race goodies, and a secure bag drop. Water is provided at the 5K point and at the finish. Portable toilets are available in the event village and are passed on each lap.
The event village at MediaCity provides food and drink options and a race pack collection area on the day; entrants are asked to bring their booking confirmation and photo ID for collection. Start and finish areas are reserved for participants, with designated spectator zones and a meeting point for supporters. Professional photographers capture finish-line images which can be searched by race number and downloaded free of charge. Timed results contribute to national rankings. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
