International Women's 5K
The International Women's 5K is an organized running event in Houston on March 7, 2027. The event is presented by women and frames itself as an opportunity to celebrate women and their accomplishments around International Women's Day, which is observed annually on March 8.
The event takes place at Karbach Brewing Co., 2032 Karbach Street, Houston, TX 77092, and includes in-person and virtual options. Race categories include solo and two-person team entries for both 5K and 10K distances. Duo entries are scored by combining both partners' finish times to produce a single team result. There are also guide categories for adaptive athletes; guides are not eligible for awards by default and may have different item eligibility.
A separate Kids & Family 1K is offered for younger participants. Virtual 5K and virtual 10K options are available for participants who do not attend in person. Registration for the listed race categories opened in mid 2026 and includes fees for most categories; guide categories have a zero-dollar base fee with optional add-ons available for items such as bibs, shirts, and medals.
