Amica Insurance Women's Classic 5K Run & 3K Walk : Providence, RI
The event is a certified, flat 5K course that begins at Brown University Stadium and runs through the scenic and historic East Side of Providence. The 3K walk follows the same course.
Registration for 2026 is available online through October 8 and in person during packet pickup on October 10 and on the day of the event. Registration fee tiers for 2026 are listed as $20 through April 1, $28 from April 1 through September 7, $34 from September 8 through October 8, and $40 for in-person registration October 9 through October 11. A student entry fee of $10 applies to high school and college students.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Rhode Runner on October 10 and at Brown University Stadium on October 11. Shirts and goody bags are provided to the first 400 participants who pick up their bib numbers.
The event includes team competition and individual prizes. Teams must consist of three or more women; the top three aggregate gun times count for scoring. Cash prizes are listed for top teams and top overall 5K finishers, with additional prizes for non-binary top finishers and age-group awards across multiple age categories.
Additional on-site activities include kids races, a Kids Village, and a Health + Wellness Fair. Dogs are not allowed on the course or in stadium gates. Strollers are not permitted in the 5K; 3K walkers with strollers must start at the back of the starting area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
