About the race
The Women's 6k Festival is scheduled for July 10, 2027 in Canton, Ohio at Downtown Centennial Plaza. The program combines a USATF‑sanctioned elite championship race with an open community 6K run/walk, a walking division, a virtual 6K option, and a short children's loop for young girls.
The event offers multiple divisions and registration categories with published entry fees and registration windows for each division. A point‑to‑point course requires shuttle service to the starting line; parking is available around Downtown Centennial Plaza or by drop‑off near the start.
Awards are planned for overall finishers in the open division, masters and grand masters, top finishers in the Pink Division (breast cancer survivors), the walking division, and age group top finishers. Athletes placed in the top overall categories will not also receive age group awards.
The Little Ladies Loop is for girls ages 0 to 10 and takes place near the finish area on a designated secure loop. Parents and other adult role models may accompany young participants without a separate entry fee when the child is registered. A post‑race festival at the finish area will include vendor activity, an award ceremony for USATF divisions and open divisions, and on‑site festivities.
