The 2026 Women's 6k Festival takes place on July 11, 2026, in Downtown Centennial Plaza, Canton, Ohio 44702. The event includes a USATF-sanctioned elite women's 6 km championship followed by an open community women's and girls 6K run/walk. A virtual 6K option is available for men and women; virtual entrants receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and bib by mail and are not eligible for overall or age-group placement awards. The organizer describes the course as fast. Post-race festival activities include vendor booths, music, an award ceremony for USATF and open divisions, and additional family-focused activities.

Divisions, entry and awards

Divisions listed by the organizer include: Adult community 6k run (women only), Student community 6k run (women only; open to ages 1-24), Walking Division (women only), Pink Division 6k run/walk (for breast cancer survivors), Virtual 6k (men and women), and Little Ladies Loop (ages 0-10). Entry fees shown are $40 for most in-person divisions, $35 for the student division, $30 for the virtual option, and $12 for the Little Ladies Loop. The Little Ladies Loop registration opens April 1, 2026 at 12:00am EDT. Awards include recognition for the top five overall women in the open division, overall masters and grand masters, top three in Pink and Walking divisions, and top three in each age division; overall masters, grand masters, and top-five overall positions are not combined with age-group awards.
