Wolverine 5K
The Wolverine 5K is scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Waterford Union High School, 100 Field Drive, Waterford, WI 53185. The event is a road race covering a 5 kilometer course. A route map is provided by the organizer.
Proceeds support the WUHS Cross Country team. Funds raised are allocated for bussing athletes to off-site practices, team shirts, and recovery equipment including foam rollers, chocolate milk, and snacks.
Entry fees vary by registration date: $20 for early registration through May 31, $25 from June 1 through July 9, and $30 from July 10 through the event day. Online registration will remain open and same day registration will be available. T-shirts are offered for purchase at registration for $10; registrants must register by August 2 to guarantee a shirt. Unisex sizes range from S to 2XL.
Official timing and results are provided by Trackside Timing. Awards will be given to the top three individuals in each age category: 13 and under, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
Parking is available by Field Drive and in the upper parking lot. Restrooms will be available on site. Packet pickup will be available on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
