Wolverine 5K
The Wolverine 5K takes place on August 8, 2027 at Waterford Union High School in Waterford, WI, with staging in the upper parking lot by the main entrance off Main Street. The event is a road race covering 5K (3.1 miles) and will use official timing provided by Trackside Timing. A course map is provided by the organizer.
Proceeds support the WUHS Cross Country team. Funds raised are designated for bussing athletes to off-site practices, team shirts, and recovery equipment such as foam rollers, chocolate milk, and snacks.
Registration fees vary by date: $20 through May 31, $25 from June 1 to July 10, and $30 from July 11 to August 8. Online registration will remain open and same-day registration is available. T-shirts are available for purchase at sign-up; to guarantee a shirt registrants must secure one by August 3. Shirts are unisex sizes S through 2XL and cost $10.
Awards are given to the top three individuals in each age category: 13 and under, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over. Parking is available by Field Drive and in the upper parking lot. Restrooms will be available on site. Packet pick-up is available on the day of the event.
