Event Overview
The Wolverine 5K is a road race starting and finishing at Waterford Union High School in Waterford, Wisconsin. It takes place on Sunday, August 9, 2026. The event is organized to support the Waterford Union High School Cross Country team. Funds raised go towards team expenses such as transportation to off-site practices, team shirts, and recovery equipment.
Race Details
The event is a single-distance 5K. Official times will be provided by Trackside Timing. The start and finish is in the school's upper parking lot, accessible from the main entrance off Main Street.
Registration & Fees
Registration fees are tiered: $20 for early registration until May 31, $25 from June 1 to July 9, and $30 from July 10 to August 8. Same-day registration will be available on-site starting at 8:30 AM. Online registration also remains open. Participants can purchase a unisex t-shirt for $10 in sizes S to 2XL, but must register by August 2 to guarantee a shirt.
Awards & Facilities
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each of seven age categories: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Packet pickup begins at 8:30 AM on race day.
