About the race
DENFIT Winter Soldier is a winter running event in Cape Vincent, New York, staged at Cape Vincent Recreation Park and along the icy St. Lawrence. Participants choose among a 10k, half marathon, or full marathon.
The course is a flat, fast out-and-back from the Rec Park to Tibbetts Point Lighthouse; the 10k is a single lap, the half is two laps, and the full is four laps. Atmospheric elements include a heated indoor space, hot showers, a roaring outdoor fire, music, and a sheltered aid station at the lighthouse turnaround. Finisher rewards include a medal, T-shirt, and for marathoners, the DENFIT SPEAR.
