The DENFIT Winter Soldier takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in Cape Vincent, NY at Cape Vincent Recreation Park, 602 S James St, 13618. Entry options and listed prices are:
- Full Marathon : $82.90
- Half Marathon : $67.45
- 10k : $52
Registration is open. The Full Marathon is limited to 100 runners and total event participation is capped at 200.
Course, facilities and race notes
The course is a flat out-and-back from the recreation park to Tibbetts Point Lighthouse. The 10k is one lap with a slightly modified route, the Half Marathon is two laps, and the Full Marathon is four laps. A sheltered aid station at the lighthouse turnaround will provide water, food and toilet facilities.
Runners will have access to hot shower facilities and space inside the recreation park building. Light refreshments will be available indoors; outside there will be a fire and music. A medal and t-shirt are provided to finishers; Full Marathon finishers receive the DENFIT SPEAR with a new design. Parking is free and a short walk to the event area; a small donation to a local non-profit is requested at parking. Organizers require runners to carry a safety light or strobe for possible whiteout conditions and recommend personal hydration.
