Witham May Day 10 Mile : Witham, 4 May 2026
The May Day 10 Mile is organised by Witham Running Club and takes place in Witham on 4 May 2026. The venue for race headquarters is Witham Rugby Club, Spa Road, Witham, CM8 1UN. The official start is located about 800 metres from the rugby club.
The course is a measured all road route that heads into the surrounding villages before returning to the rugby club. The organisers describe the course as fast and undulating. The race holds a UKA licence number 29108 and has an SEAA measured course certificate 17/389. A time limit of 2 hours 20 minutes applies; runners remaining on the course after that time will be treated as pedestrians.
Entry fees are listed as £23 for affiliated runners and £25 for non affiliated runners, with on the day entries at £30. Race registration and race number and timing chip collection are provided on the morning of the event. Race numbers are non transferable and include a detachable baggage label; timing chips must be attached to the trainer.
Parking for runners is not available at the rugby club. Organised parking is provided at Witham Sports Ground and Maltings Academy, both about a 10 minute walk to race headquarters. Water stations are located at around 2 miles, 5 miles and 8 miles, with water also available at the finish. First aid is available in the finish area and medals are awarded to all finishers.
