Witch City 5K Road Race
The Witch City 5K Road Race is a 5-kilometer road event scheduled for October 3, 2026, at Salem Willows Park on Fort Avenue in Salem, Massachusetts. The event includes standard and wheelchair race categories and a youth entry for participants 13 and under.
The course is stroller and dog friendly; well-behaved dogs must be on a leash. Free parking is available in the main lot at the Willows and along Fort Avenue. Timing services are provided by Bay State Race Services. Results will be posted at the finish area and sent to participants after the race.
Awards include medals for 1st place male and female overall, top three male and female in standard age groups (13 & under, 14–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+), top three non-binary and top three wheelchair finishers, plus special prizes for the first-place male and female Salem residents and costume prizes.
The event raises funds for the local YMCA. Current fundraising for the Salem YMCA is listed as $325.46 toward a $5,000 goal, and fundraising levels include Named tiers at $50, $100, and $250. Registration fees shown include a 5K adult category, a wheelchair category, and a child category for ages 13 and under. The refund policy states that all sales are final.
