Event Overview
The Witch City 5K Road Race is a community running event held in Salem, Massachusetts. The course leads participants through local streets, with the event base located at Salem Willows Park on Fort Avenue. This race serves as a fundraiser for the Salem YMCA, supporting programs such as youth development, childcare, and financial assistance for families in the region.

The event features a 5 km distance suitable for various participants. The course is stroller and dog friendly, provided that dogs are well-behaved. Available registration categories include:

Logistics and Awards
Free parking is available for participants in the main lot at the Willows and along Fort Avenue. On-site race day pick-up is located at the Salem Willows at Dead Horse Beach. Results are posted at the finish line and distributed via email following the conclusion of the event.
Medals are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in various age groups ranging from 13 and under to 70+. Recognition is also provided for the top three non-binary and wheelchair participants. Additionally, the event features special prizes for the first-place male and female Salem residents and awards for the best costumes worn during the race.
