Witch City 5K Road Race - Salem, MA
The Witch City 5K Road Race takes place on October 3, 2026 at Salem Willows Park, 165 Fort Ave, Salem, MA, USA. The event is organized to raise funds for YMCA programs in the local community.
The event distance is 5K. The course is stroller and dog friendly; dogs must be well behaved and kept on a leash. Free parking is available in the main Willows lot and along Fort Avenue. Timing is provided by Bay State Race Services. Results are posted at the finish line and emailed to participants.
Awards include medals for overall 1st place male and female, age group medals for the top three male and female finishers in these divisions: 13 & under, 14–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+, plus medals for the top three non-binary and top three wheelchair finishers. Special prizes are listed for the first place male and female Salem residents and for costume winners.
Fundraising supports the Salem YMCA; current fundraising goal is $5,000 with progress reported on the event page. Fundraising levels include Lucky Cat at $50, Pumpkin Carver at $100, and Good Witch at $250. Packet pick-up is scheduled across October 11–14 at Salem YMCA and Salem Willows. All sales are final; no refunds will be offered. Shirts are available while supplies last and must be picked up before the race begins.
