Witch City 5K Road Race
Witch City 5K Road Race takes place on October 3, 2026 at Salem Willows Park, Fort Avenue, Salem, MA, USA. The event is organized as a community road race that supports the Greater Beverly YMCA and its programs.
The event distance is 5K. The course is stroller and dog friendly with well behaved dogs allowed. Free parking is available in the main lot at the Willows and along Fort Avenue. Timing is provided by Bay State Race Services. Race shirts are available on a first come, first served basis and must be picked up by the start of the race. All sales are final and no refunds will be offered.
Packet pick up is scheduled at the Salem YMCA, 1 Sewell St, Salem on October 11 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, October 12 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and October 13 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with additional pick up on October 14 at Salem Willows.
Awards include medals for 1st place male and female overall, top three male and female in multiple age groups, top three non binary and top three wheelchair finishers, special prizes for the first place Salem residents, and costume prizes. Fundraising levels are defined with example tiers such as Lucky Cat at $50, Pumpkin Carver at $100, and Good Witch at $250 or more to support YMCA financial assistance and scholarships.
