Witch City 5K Road Race, Salem Willows Park
The Witch City 5K Road Race is scheduled for October 3, 2026 at Salem Willows Park, Fort Avenue, Salem, MA. The event is a 5K road race organized with YMCA fundraising in support of local Y programs and financial assistance.
The course is stroller friendly and dog friendly for well behaved, leashed dogs. A wheelchair division is included. Timing is provided by Bay State Race Services and results are posted at the finish line and emailed to participants after the event.
Awards include medals for 1st place male and female overall, top three male and female in the following age groups: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Open categories include top three non-binary and top three wheelchair finishers. There are special prizes for the first place male and female Salem residents and costume prizes.
Fundraising levels are listed with suggested targets: registration level, Lucky Cat at $50, Pumpkin Carver at $100, and Good Witch at $250 or more. Registration fees shown include mandatory charges and examples listed are 5K Adult $44.79 and 5K Child (13 and under) $18.04. All sales are final; no refunds will be offered. Tee shirts are available first come first served while supplies last and must be picked up by the start of the race. Free parking is available in the main lot at the Willows and along Fort Avenue.
