Witch City 5K Road Race
The Witch City 5K Road Race is a community 5K held in Salem, Massachusetts at Salem Willows Park on October 3, 2026. The event supports the local YMCA; fundraising is organized with named giving levels and a visible campaign progress (Raised: $442.40 of a $5,000 goal).
The course is stroller friendly and allows well-behaved dogs on leash. Timing for the event is provided by Bay State Race Services. Race day packet pick-up takes place at Salem Willows at Dead Horse Beach. Free parking is available in the main lot at the Willows and along Fort Avenue. Race shirts are offered first come, first served and must be collected by the start of the race. All sales are final; no refunds will be offered.
Awards include medals for overall 1st place male and female, age-group medals for top three male and female in standard age bands (13 and under through 70+), top three non-binary and top three wheelchair finishers, special prizes for the first-place Salem residents, and costume prizes.
